About Dek Wright | ||
Dek Wright, the son of DeckerWright Corp's head honcho Marshall Wright, is a third-year engineering student at the University of New Orleans studying Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He is also pursuing a minor in English and might one day write for a nautical magazine. Dek is proud to be a brother of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Lambda Alpha chapter. At school, Dek works for the NA&ME department, helping to maintain the school's towing tank and other NA&ME facilities. He earned his third degree black belt in tae kwon do in 2008 and teaches tae kwon do at a karate school close to campus. During the summers, Dek works at DeckerWright Corp and has recently begun writing suspenseful, compelling tales for the DWC Newsletter and blog.
