History of DeckerWright Corporation

In 1984 the primary focus of the company was software development consulting. DWC provided highly experienced software developers and systems engineers to Bell Laboratories, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Perkin-Elmer into the mid 1990s. As the company grew throughout the 1980s a retail operation was added headed by Marshall Wright who joined the business in 1989. The business continued to grow and evolve and the retail operation was eventually phased out as a greater focus was placed on providing network integration services. In 1994, with the move to 628 Shrewsbury Avenue in Red Bank, the business completed the transition out of retail and into a network services business. The company expanded into its current space in 1997. The business evolved and grew, surpassing the $1 million sales mark for the first time in 1998.
