A Disaster Recovery Operations Plan (DROP) is the logical extension of a DRIP.
Developed with the customer, the DROP puts together a detailed plan on what to do in the event of a disaster.
Part of the DROP is a disaster test, where the plan and the information in the DRIP are validated.
Based on those results, the DROP is refined.
Using the Drip, Drop methodology, a business can substantial reduce the down time after a disaster occurs. With DRIP and DROP, a business is fully insured against a disaster.
