Computers don't float. All the data on computers that were submerged in ocean water during the storm has been lost. In the storm area, 90% of the customers who lost their computers either had no backups, or didn't have adequate offsite backups. So in addition to rebuilding their physical business, these business owners also have to reconstruct their customer lists, orders, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounting information. Lesson #2, make sure there are backups, test the backups regularly and keep a copy of the data off-site.
